Recently, me and my husband moved to Dallas from Orlando. I know Dallas is not magical kingdom as is Orlando, but Dallas has so many place to visit which are incredibly amazing. Here i am going to explore one of them.
Last weekend my cousin and her husband had came to visited us. She had only one day and we want to visit a place where we can spent whole day. and google suggest us this amazing place. So we made a plan to visit Dallas Zoo.
Dallas Zoo is 106 acre area vise located in south Dallas, Texas. Established in 1888, it is oldest and largest zoological park in Texas. Dallas Zoo is home to over 2000 animals and 500+ species. You can see verity of animals like giant elephants, giraffes, gorillas, chimpanzees, hippopotamuses and many more from every corner of world.
They also provide Monorail Safari tour, it offers a 20-minute guided ride through six African habitats.
We were there on Sunday around 1 pm, and believe me there is no place to park our car. So we parked our car on curbside. And the zoo entrance was 1 mile away from our car. So we had pretty good walk also. But it was worth, the feeling to see the verity of animals was incredible. As soon as we entered, we show so many flamingos. There were enjoying in water and chirping loudly.
Then we reached at snacks exhibition, it was huge, and they had verity of snakes from different part of the world.
There were Penguins , Toledo Zoo, Giant Anteaters( ant bear)
Then after, we saw wild animals like tigers, hippopotamus, chimpanzees, gorillas, giants savannas, giraffes and jaguars.
It is great place for kids and adults during summer vacation. There is picnic area also, so you can spend whole day over there. We had great time and if you are planning to go there, i wish you great time.
