Weather is almost changed, fall has already started and the season of falling in sick is going to start. but let me tell you, Indian spices has potential to fight against disease.
Spices are Pungent and Aromatic substances that we use to season our food but do you know it has a huge list of benefits.

Immunity is a defense power of our body, which can fight against disease-causing agents. Due to some circumstances, it gets affected and we get sick.
Here are some spices that helps you boosting your immunity
Turmeric
Turmeric has a special compound called CURCUMIN. Curcumin has scientifically proven health benefits such as it has potential to prevent Heart disease, Alzheimer’s diseases, and Cancer. It has ANTI-INFLAMMATORY and ANTI-OXIDANT property which helps in diseases like arthritis.
Black pepper
Black pepper is not only used in the kitchen but it has been crowned as ‘the king of spices’ and it has been used in ancient Ayurveda medicine for thousands of years due to its high potentiality. It has an active compound called PIPERINE, it protect you from cell damage, improves nutrient absorption and protects you from digestive problems.





Research on human cancer cells shows that black pepper extract was able to stop 85% of cell damage associated with cancer cell development. It also boosts the nutrient absorption.
Cinnamon
Cinnamon contains large amounts of highly potent POLYPHENOL antioxidants. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, which may lower the risk of disease especially Heart diseases including Cholesterol, Triglyceride and High blood pressure. Not all types of cinnamons are equal.





The Cassia variety contains significant amounts of a compound called Coumarin, which is believed to be harmful in large doses. Make sure to get Ceylon cinnamon or small dose of cassia variety.
Cardamom
Cardamom has impressive medicinal properties. It is great for people who has high blood pressure. In one study, the researcher gave 3 gram cardamom powder a day to 20 adults who were diagnosed for high blood presser. After 20 days, the blood presser level were significantly decreased to normal range.
It is also great for digestive aid such as Nausea, Vomiting, Heartburn, Ulcer, and IBS. People also consume it as a mouth freshener.
Cloves
Cloves are high in antioxidants, including Eugenol and vitamin C, both of which can help to reduce Oxidative stress and it promotes liver health. It is a very important spice for oral health.
Star anise
Star Anise has strong antiviral capability. It’s one of the main active ingredients in Tamiflu, a popular medication for the treatment of Influenza. It also offers potent Anti fungal benefits. And it also provide you Antibacterial property.
