We used to do this while we were growing up but as we aged we forgot how to laugh. To go back to good old days we need to make lifestyle changes.
Laughter is a powerful drug for the human body. It strengthens your immune system, boosts your mood, diminishes pain and protects you from damaging effects of stress. It helps you release the anger and it also helps you too forgive others sooner.

Research done at The University Of Maryland on laughter found that positive impact of laughter to relaxes your blood vessels. Once vessels are relaxed more blood reaches to the cells and the organs.
Laughter also has positive impact on natural killer cells (NK cells). N-killer cells are part of your immune system which identifies the cancerous cells or mutating cells. It’s not going to replace radiation therapy but if we harness our body’s immune mechanism, it will be like taking step towards healing and recovery.
Body’s mechanism behind laughter
When you laugh,
Your body will get contraction => Contraction leads to => More blood flow in your body => More blood leads to => More oxygenation in your cells => More oxygenation leads to => Cells will carry more blood and nutrients => Which leads to => Stronger immune system => which finally lowers inflammation levels.
At the mental level,
Even you are in stressed or depressed condition I suggest you to laugh because it will trick your brain that you are happy. So its like you fake it, until you make it. Stress and anxiety happens in sympathetic system of your brain and now if you laugh then parasympathetic system of your brain signals the body that everything is normal. We are tricking our subconscious mind finally here doing this trick will helps us out in this bad period of our life.
Keep in mind don’t laugh on others. It is not good for you. It is a sign of your own insecurity or having low self-esteem. It has to be in pure form.
